It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We'd like to design the logo of the new Convention Bureau of Milan, a network which unifies all actors involved in the promotion of the city as a destination for hosting business events. We are implementing a rebranding of the network so the logo will be used in all promotional campaign and marketing activities (website, newsletter, events, trade shows etc). It should represent and identify the city, attracting event organizers. The colour of the official logo of the Municipality of Milan is red (see file attached) and it's very simple and elegant. We'd like to have a logo which reminds the official one but it's not the same. In attachment you can see 2 examples of other logos. An option could be having the official Municipality logo modified as you wish, or also having the skyline of the city in vector form wich include stylized Duomo, Castle and the new skyscrapers of Unicredit Tower and the 3 new buildings of Citylife. We would like to have the New and Old city together.

Company description

Our compamy is the venue manager of the Milan Convention Centre (Mico Milano Congressi) and also we created the Convention Bureau of MIlan. Right now the network is called Eventing Milan (www.eventingmilan.it) we with the aim to launch the new network and rebranding we want to change name and create a new logo.

Target group

Our target group is made of event organizers (corporate and association) in order to attract them to Milan to organize their event. We need to promote the city for business tourism and events. The target is therefore made of professionals which organize events worldwide and they should chose Milan instead of other cities.

Colors, favourites and other requirements

It could have some little red and grey which are the official colour of the city (the same red as the logo attached of the Municipality of Milan)

First of all, I want to thank you for your feedback and rating. I've tried to incoroprate all you've asked me to. The only thing I didn't include is 3rd skyline because I think it will be too much. This is what I came up with.

Dear Denza, thanks a lot for your logo. We like the concept, the choise of colourand the style, very elegant. I have some feedback fro you: we would like to cancel the circle about the buildins, and the line which is below to be reduced in size, and maybe a little bit round shape.Fopr the choise of the buildids, the Duomo and the Castle are ok, the one next to the Duomo as well but then we would like to have the UNicredit Tower and the 3 buildinds of the citylife district. If you good it you can find them.Looking forward to receive your new proposal. Also, as we think you undestood our requirements of elegant and institutional, woudl you be able to design a new one with no Duomo or buildings but using something that reminds the official logo which is attached?
