It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

Hotel Laguna is an independent family-owned hotel in Montenegro. Laguna is imagined as different hotel concept with restaurant serving local cuisine.
We are trying to combine breeze of past with modern requirements.

We are in the search for new logo that will fully reflect our philosophy.
Designers are welcome to propose their own ideas and visions of our potential logo.
We would also like to receive logo which contains:
a) wheel - a bit rustic wheel
b) bicycle - again a bit old and appealing
Note: logo should not contain both
Within the logo should also be the name "Laguna". Word should be written in rustic and appealing font. However, the font should also be stylish.

However, we would also like to receive other proposals.

Company description

Laguna has been imagined as unique, authentic and truly local place. It is providing more than a hotel experience. Our goals are completely different concepts of hospitality, atmosphere and gastronomic hotel.
Laguna is 2014 Travelers’ Choice Award Winner as best BB/Inn in Montenegro.
In addition, Laguna won Top Clean 2013 and Top Welcoming 2013 Awards from Expedia’s Venere.com.
Laguna is designed to be comfortable and romantic, business viable and past resembling, in but out of town, cosmopolitan but truly local. Restaurant is designed with combination of brown and green oak wood and green local stone. In addition, many old almost forgotten craftworks and old local photos are permanent setting. Hotel rooms continue respective story with wooden designed furniture and details. Each room has all necessary modern amenities including free Wi-Fi.
Laguna’s restaurant serves local mixed cuisine made in traditional manner with best local ingredients. It also provides catering services.
In addition, Laguna provides unique local tours for own guests.

Target group

Colors, favourites and other requirements

You can send logo in different colors.
However, we have been using yellow and dark blue as our hotel colors.
Please consider it also.
If we select logo in different colors we may want to change them into existing ones.

The top design is with yellow & blue as indicated by your brief, colors you use now in your hotel. Bear in mind, colors can be changed as needed. The wheel is yellow (as shown) and the blue indicates breezes as a wheel may make while in motion, but also, the sky as it meets an body of water, such as a Laguna. #2 is much the same except I have changed the wheel to reflect the colors indicated, brown & green oak-I gave the wheel the green/brown color, leaving the blue the same, except changing the top stripe to show more "movement". I changed the name "laguna Motel" to static text as well as making it blue, unlike #1, where I put the type on a path and gave it an drop-shadow to pop it off the background, being that it is yellow.
