It all started with an idea...

Needs

My own company was created out of my passion for nature, wood and woodworking. I can be found a lot of time in nature: hiking, wild camping, going into the mountains, or spend time in the woods. Almost two years ago I started my company symbolically by making wooden bowls and spoons by hand in Sweden with axes and knives. That's where the old logo comes from, the pine tree. This logo is more reminiscent of Christmas than a furniture maker, in addition I mainly work with hardwood and almost no pine trees. The pine tree may subtly appear in the new logo, but it does not matter if it disappears.

I make many dining tables, coffee tables and cocktail shelves/boards. I design the furniture myself. My products are characterized by: close to nature, tough & industrial look and handmade. I think it's best if you see as much of nature as possible in my products: organic forms, wood grain, knots, imperfection = perfection. This combined with steel legs or leather straps gives a nice, tough and trendy combination.

I am looking for a logo that covers as much as possible the load of what I do and clearly tells my company name.

The logo must make clear:
- the company name. This is clearly visible in the logo. (Beelen Hout & Design)
- that I have a passion for nature and that you see that reflected in my creations.
- that I have a woodworking company / furniture maker (tough, creative and natural furniture, cocktail boards, etc.) See also the images of Instagram.
- the logo is ultimately used for communication (e-mail, social media, website).
- The logo must also fit on a brand (cocktail boards) and on a metal plate (furniture) to provide my products with my logo
