A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

Dear friends, designers and graphic designers,

Our company named AEGIS is looking for its logo to communicate about its activities and needs your creativity!

Since 29 years, this holding company brings together two entities, including AEGIS-Pharma, which unearths exceptional cosmetics throughout the world and distributes them to professionals (organic stores, pharmacies, hairdressers, barbers, etc.).

We would like a logo to communicate on our activity and our expertise in our field of activity and invest in innovative fields, new technologies, but also in old craftsmanship.

Our goal ? Inspire serenity, seriousness, confidence and power.
Our logo will absolutely highlight our local Pyrénéen (Basque Country and Béarn) and be sober.

The logo must necessarily represent the following elements:

- a shield (Aegis is the shield of Athena) in the style of coat of arms in several parts
○ The Pyrenees bear, in order to build our local roots
○ Other elements of the Pyrenees, the Basque Country and Béarn (makila, snowy mountains ...)
○ Heraldic typography
○ Baseline: "Innovation - Excellence - Famille" - "Regarder au-delà"

What we do not want:

- A too warlike spirit
- A too aggressive mind
- flashy colors

A variation of the previous logo. This time with a more modern font for the company name. This also helps to highlight the motto underneath.

My heraldic logo uses geometrization as a means to separate the graphic elements and build visual hierarchy. The shield contains a snowy peak on which a bear in negative space can be seen. The bar is looking at the stars which are a symbol of excellence and prestige. The blue sober palette communciates trust and professional attitude from the company.
