Nice first proposal! I think the city name in red or dark grey color makes a good contrast combination. I also think that the addition of a snowman and reindeer in the place of some trees would looks great. Now there are many trees and the logo does not reflect the complete event. Maybe also add a drawing of a winter chalet?
