It all started with an idea...

This sans-serif font is modern, I created more white space between the letters to suggest luxury as that is what you're looking for.
I did my research about the word "chimérique" and found out that it means "chimerical, dreamy, imaginary". I created the cloudy surroundings to give it a dreamy effect and in this way I refer to the meaning of the word. I chose the light blue, because it is a very dreamy colour. You could choose to use other colours, even grey if you really want to stay with the black and white idea. What's also nice about this logo, is that when you make it smaller or bigger, the "cloudy surroundings" change a bit, this way you're logo is changeable but still very recognizable. The "clouds" keep changing, just like real clouds.

when needed, you can also use a version without the clouds. I could send you different versions in different colours, with and without the clouds! :)

I don't really like the "clouds", it doesn't give the luxe touch I request for this contest.
And I think without the clouds, it will be too much easily perfectible.
