A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Both the contest are same and run by same contest holder, is it. If it is so then one place designers are working and wasting time and efforts. as in one place contest holder will be taking money back.
is there ant rule from sites for contest holder that can't run contest in 2 places

This is much better... Not perfect, but better.
This is the best option. Symbol in the middle, text underneath. But this great symbol is quite long, with the beard and all... And the text doesn't seem to work with that symbol. How would you make both work as uno?

What we like with your submission is that you have incorporated a symbol which is thought through....
However the font you have used is not what we are looking for it needs to be more high end, the barber shop is aiming to be among the top barber shops in scandinavia...
I would also suggest that u try to place the symbol in the middle of the logo with the text right underneath....
