To symbolise the heat network, I chose to represent a pipe symbol, the line in the center of this pipe represents the heat flow.
The shape of the pipe evokes the letter W, like WAN.
About the colors, I thought the pink and orange gave a warm feeling.
Using a color gradient, with pink and orange, it gives a very modern result, to represent novelty, the cutting edge of WAN technology.
