It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We need a logo for our B&B De Ekkelstee, to be started soon in the heart of Drenthe.

'Ekkelstee' or 'De Ekkelstee' can be used in the logo. The name is a combination of ekkel (oak in the Drenthe dialect, of which we have a few monumental specimens in the garden) and stee (farm house). It is obvious to display an oak tree, oak leaf or acorn stylized in the logo. A squirrel is also an option.

Company description

Our home is a thatched farmhouse built last year, the design of which is modern, but based on the classic Drenthe/Saxon farmhouse. The accommodation for the guests is more or less the traditional hayloft. The interior is modern and sleek designed with lots of oak. It gets a warm minimalist Scandinavian atmosphere.

Target group

Our target group is a 50+ couple or couple of friends who explore our beautiful Drenthe landscape on foot or by bike, and who opt for a comfortable contemporary accommodation for the night.

Colors, favourites and other requirements

Colors that will gradually form the corporate identity and that may return in the logo are #6b846b and rust shades.
