A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We have taken over an existing company and are looking for a new logo and style. The company performance maintenance on heavy freight trailers and containers in the Rotterdam area. Logo and style can stand out in a crowd and may preferably look mint and modern. Logo is to be used on business cards, website, letter heads, invoices, email signatures and other expressions.

Company description

The company performs maintenance on freight trailers and containers. This considers the actual trailers, not the trucks. Maintenance consists of performing repairs on damages and doing checks like the annual MOT. Also loading and reloading of freight is being done. We perform these activities in the Rotterdam area and mainly in the harbor.

Target group

Target audience are our customers and suppliers. Customers are national and international freight transport companies and who are in need of repairs and maintenance in the Netherlands.

Colors, favourites and other requirements

The preferred style is mainly light colors like white and light gray combined with purple. The actual purple color is shown on our website www.ycts.nl. The purple is used to make the company stand out. The logo can be linked to water and harbor to show our connection to the Rotterdam harbor. Links to trucks are less likely to be used. Font can be modern and clean. Font used on the website is Raleway from Google fonts. Besides logo and style a pay-off can be optional.

Here is another logo approach. The focus is set on the 'repair' service, which the brackets indicate. It also emphasises that YCTS is the company you need to go to if you're in need of their service.

Hello, I created this simple, yet recognisable & meaningful logo design. It has a strong font, and you know immediately what the business is about. For the symbol I wanted to take up the idea of the signal flags, whereat a square with stripes for the letter "Y" stands.
