I have started my own little company named 'Know Your Dog', I am a behavioral therapist and so my job is to help people that have problems with their dogs. Its a very small company and I am looking for a logo and corporate identity for business cards, company clothing, brochures and my website.
My website is already online (though only available in Dutch) so you can have a look to see my style so far: www.knowyourdog.nl. I created it myself so don't expect anything too fancy :P.
I am looking for a logo that is simple, contains my company name and I would love it if it carries some symbolic / hidden meaning (hoping I am explaining that good enough). Otherwise please have a look at the example logos I took from google, to give a better understanding.
In any case its very important to know that I am a dog centered behaviorist. That doesnt only mean that I use positive training techniques, but even that I try to respect a dog for its natural being as much as possible. Meaning no collars and short leashes, but harnesses and room to do his/her own thing. Respecting a dogs character and needs establishes a good bond with the owner and from there we work on any sorts of problems. So whatever the image portrays has to match this philosophy.
(For dog 'experts' - I have been educated by Turid Rugaas, you can find plenty of English material on her on the internet, and I carry out her ideas).

KnowYourDog says :
Nice creative idea but a bit too spiritual for me.

KnowYourDog says :
Could you perhaps change the 'dog' in the middle into a more realistic small dog? Just sitting looking forward?
