Design a logo and style for a Trendy new Cafe/ Bar

We are going to open a trendy modern Kitchen & Bar in the heart of Amsterdam , the name we chose is Splinters ( because the interior of the cafe has a lot of rough wood )

It needs to be clear that it is a bar and also has good food so people feel welcome to come in and just drink but also be clear that we serve good food.

We sell Steaks / Ribs / Burgers / Pizza / Pasta et cetera

The location we are on is extremely international with tourists from many different countries so we need it to be visually clear that it is a Bar / Restaurant

One of our colleagues had the idea of having the logo burned/branded into a rough piece of wood for on the building, we are not attached to this idea but it sounds cool

So the style needs to be a bit rough and woody modern steakhouse kind of idea

I have attached a menu someone designed for us this week , we think something like this could be nice but we are not attached to this yet.
