It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We, the Freshmen, are looking for a fresh, recognizable and unique logo/branding.
The logo has to be a recognition point for Freshmen and is going to be used to brand our products, like websites we made but also invoices, user manuals, business cards et cetera.

The logo must not only contain text, it is preferred for a logo to fit in an app icon.

We are planning to emphasize the word fresh on our website and in our products. We offer you freedom in your creativity, but prefer a symbol logo.

For our own website we use an .io domain, you are able to use this in the logo but it is not mandatory.

Company description

Freshmen is a young, fresh, and upcoming software company that builds innovative, custom software for companies and individuals. Service and quality are our main priorities. We will guide the customer and advise when necessary to reach a product that fits the customer perfectly.

Our portfolio currently exists of websites, web applications, apps and custom software.

Freshmen exists of 2 young informatics students from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Hi Roy,
A new proposal for your logo as I guess you prefer my first trial. In this one, I have modified the 2 origami characters (more abstract faces, less scary and I created an origami design for the freshmen letters. The colours are choosen to bring a fresh atmosphere in the logo.
I'd be glad to ear from you on how you feel with this new design...

Hi Roy,
Please find another proposal for your logo. A flowchart diagram, with a snowflake shaped design, to figure the freshness of both your products and approach.
I also have changed the typo of freshmen for a more business one

Hi,

I took inspiration from the in pieces site design, with an origami style men duo, in blue tones.Please let me know how you feel about this idea.

We don't like the text style very much. Also the men are a bit childish and a bit scary even, we want it more businesslike.
