We named the brand “T”, the most minimalistic name we could come up with for a tea brand.
We would like you to design a logo and house-style for the tea brand.

Our brand values: Responsible, Down to earth, Transparent, Excellence, and Innovation.
In previous iterations we really liked just the letter “T” as the logo, with a rectangle and stripe around it to resemble a very minimalistic tea bag. We very much like this as a starting point, but if you have different ideas, we would love to see them.
I have a background as a branding strategist with some graphic design experience, and plan to give feedback on a daily basis.
Company description:
We are starting a tea brand selling high quality, organically produced, hand-plucked, orthodox tea. Our tea is produced in Nepal, where we have connected with different small-scale tea farmers. We pay good prices for the tea they produce.
We are going with a modern brand as we believe that a modern brand should not only focus on high quality products, but also on ethically responsible business operations. Our tea is ‘real’, compared to many of the tea’s found in the Dutch supermarket. We are working on a promo video of the farmers plucking the tea and processing the tea further to show where our tea comes from.
We will have quite a wide assortment of tea types. We have our two ‘best’ types, which are not available all year through because of their exclusivity, called Golden Needles and Silver Needles.
Besides these, we have Black tea (golden tips), White tea, Premium Green tea, Pearl Green Tea, Green Oolong tea, Masala tea, Green Sencha tea, Bancha Green tea, Roasted Green Tea, Classic green tea, Autumn Black Tea, Himalayan Gold Tea, Himalayan Longyin Tea, Black Tea Delight.
Target group:
Colors, favourites and other requirements
On our packaging we would like to show the type of the tea and year of plucking (different years have different qualities, like with wine). An idea that we liked from earlier explorations is to have a different color packaging for every type of tea.
We will be selling the tea in tin cans.

Hoi Logomaker!
We hebben het over je logo gehad en willen een aantal dingen proberen:
- de tekst (The modern tea brand) loskoppen van het logo, en die verder naar onder zetten
- kijken of we met 2 kleuren kunnen werken: de kleur van het logo en de achtergrond kleur (van het gehele blik, de letter T en een stuk van het lijntje). We zouden graag voor onze verschillende soorten thee verschillende kleurcombinaties willen zien.
Daarnaast wilden we je vragen of je kunt proberen wat er gebeurd als de lijn geen curve is maar 3 rechte lijnen zijn (die wel dunner zijn dan de T, anders is het geen touwtje meer). We merken dat we het nog niet strak genoeg vinden, en dat zou kunnen helpen, maar weten niet of dit idee werkt. Zoniet, zouden we het huidige ontwerp ook met de twee bovenstaande punten graag willen zien in een template.

Ik merk dat ik het fijner vind als de tekst buiten het logotype staat. Zou je daarnaast kunnen proberen met fellere kleuren te werken? -

Nu de T in het logo staat & recht staat is het minimalistischer geworden, dat is mooi. Ik merk wel dat het nog een vrij onopvallend logo is door de dunne lijnen in grote vlakken. Heb je ideeën hoe je het opvallender zou kunnen maken?
Het font is wat te speels voor het merk dat we willen uitstralen, zou je die kunnen aanpassen? -

Thanks for these submissions! We do like this logo-design. Could you however slightly change the T in another fond? This one looks a bit too thick in my opinion, compared to the whole logo.

Taking into account our other comments regarding the logo, would it be an idea to use these colours and logos for a design of a tin package. That way we are able to see how it looks like on a tin package.
Second, it would be nice to also show some examples in which the colour of the logo also changes (maybe relating it to the different types of tea that we sell). -

In comparison with the one below, we like this one better. This one looks more minimalistic. However, could you maybe use a more minimalistic fond for "The modern tea brand" here?
