A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

New productlabels:
Our labels need to comply to the CLP-law and need to contain all necessary safety information. Since Engels is the main language for aviation worldwide, the language for our labels is English. Safety information is always provided in these 4 languages: English, French, German and Dutch. Since we produce chemicals, our labels may not be attractive for children.

Company description

Aero-Sense is a Belgian manufacturer of Aviation Chemicals. We are a B2B-company that targets General and Business Aviation. We have a broad range of products, in 2 main categories:

1. De-icing and anti-icing
Ranges from a kersonene fuel additive to de-icing chemicals for in-flight icing.

2. Cleaning
Both exterior and interior cleaning of the aircraft.

We invest a lot in certification of our products for the aviation industry. Our company motto "Your reliable partner in Aviation Chemicals" says it all: clients are sure that their chemicals have been tested by an independent laboratory and have the necessary certificates. Our products are labelled for the European market.

Target group

We need a label with the following:

- a high-end technical product (chemicals for the aviation industry)
- a technial product
- a clear product line that can be used on several packaging sizes (e.g. jerrycan, aerosol, spray bottle)
- for professional B2B-clients in Europe

We zijn een klein beetje terughoudend om een afbeelding van een specifiek toestel te gebruiken op onze labels. De reden is omdat het eigenlijk onmogelijk is om ons product aan één bepaald toestel te gaan linken, want het kan gebruikt worden voor verschillende types toestellen.

De afbeelding kan ik gewoon weg halen. Dan blijft er een egale kleur over.

Om dit specifieke ontwerp het mooist te laten ogen, zouden we een speciale kapvorm moeten laten maken. Dat zou natuurlijk wel de kostprijs opdrijven. Van de 4 ontwerpen, gaat onze voorkeur uit naar het eerste en het derde.
