About The Giving Platform:
More info : www.thegivingplatform.com (is safe to click)

The Giving Platform aims to create a new and modern approach to philanthropy, by offering an alternative to volunteering, or making financial donations to charity. The aim is to inspire sympathy and spread the joy of giving.

The Giving Platform provides an online application with profiles of poor persons, sick patients, orphans, refugees and lonely elderly through help-organisations like the RedCross. Anyone can choose a recipient and send this person a personally made package as a complete surprise. The sender will receive a personal video or photograph of the recipient retrieving the gift.

Gifts are personal, and sent directly to the recipient.

Examples: Sasha, a refugee girl, lost her parents during the war in Syria. She loves dolls, so she received a gift of new clothes and a set of dolls. Widower Van Dijk recently lost the dog he received from his wife whom had passed away. He received a uniquely created painting of both his dog and his wife by a stranger through The Giving Platform.
