Logo Design for a Space / Gaming / Homeworld Website

Needs

In a nutshell: a futuristic 'pinup' image conveying the wrath of a squadron who's Homeworld has been destroyed and who are hell (or heaven) bent on revenge. Think "world war 2 fighter plane pinup but in space/for a space ship" :)

Please search "Homeworld screenshots" and "Homeworld fan art" for a 'feel' of the universe.

I'll need three versions of this: a high resolution of the logo only, a 16x16 favicon, and a 1920x___ (height is up to you) version in a banner for the top of www.fistsofheaven.com

LONG DESCRIPTION WITH COLOR CODES, LINKS TO SIMILAR WORK, AND ONE IDEA I HAD:

I'd love for an 'avenging angels with wings' type of look, and in between her wings should be a planet (like in the example graphic) but the planet should be ~half beautiful and ~half burning (divided into top and bottom, not left and right, and the ratios don't have to be exact).

Text above should read "Fists of Heaven", preferably using these colors of yellow: #FDD106 and #FBEC24. I am not an artistic person so also feel free to do what you think would look good.

Company description

This is for an 'all things space' website that's focused on space related videogames called Fists of Heaven. There is also a fan fiction component, and here is some backstory:

"Our planet, Kharak, was destroyed by the Taiidani empire, forcing us to traverse across the galaxy to search and reclaim our rightful homeworld, Hiigara."

About the squadron (more fiction):

The Fists of Heaven are an elite, invitation-only squadron, all extensive combat veterans of the trek from Kharak to Hiigara, and were instrumental in the defense of the Mothership during the long trek to Hiigara. It is partly FoH's strategic ingenuity in the face of incredible opposition that allowed the Kushan people and Mothership to successfully reach Hiigara. The members of FoH will never forget the burning of Kharak, nor will their zealous determination of the decimation of the Taiidani empire burn out.
