It all started with an idea...

A short, interactive guide helped them discover their design style and clearly captured what they needed.

Needs

We are a UK research partnership between the universities of Sheffield, Warwick, Oxford and Newcastle (SWON).

Our focus is on basic biology revealing new details about how bacteria make their cell wall (the target of penicillin), with the aim of using this knowledge to design new medical alternatives to penicillin.

We would like a logo to use digitally and in print.

Ideally the logo should look:

- Academic
- Include the words 'SWON Alliance'

Although not a requirement, tasteful reference to science/innovation/bacteria/ bacterial cell wall/ antibiotics would be welcome.

Hi,

Here I present you the Logo based on the partnership of the 4 universities. The four heads with body symbolise the four universities also it forms the "S" when observed horizontally or vertically along with the cross symbol when observed as a whole. The colours used are all related to medicine and research fields.
Together creating a powerful, strong, professional and a Logo with International European look.

Hi,
Have a look at the Logo and do let me know your views.
The First represents with the UK Flag Colours along with the shape of an antibiotic Capsule. The Text Font Style Shows the International European Style, Strenght and Reliabilty. And for the Second color scheme for the Logo I went with the professional colours for Medicine Sector i.e. Blue and Green.
